The long day
The fisherman rests by the waters edge, near the village of Isafordur in Iceland. His long day is over, at last.
His two-thumbed woven gloves designed to be turned around as they wear out pulling the heavy oars through the turbulent waters. His wooden-framed fishing boat ideally suited to the freezing cold water so close to the Artic. His long day over, the sea has provided once more, as it has done for generations.
